With creamy feta and tangy Greek yogurt, this Avocado Feta Dip makes the perfect appetizer to pair with chips and veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • ¼ cup greek yogurt (plain)
  • ¼ cup feta
  • 2 teaspoon cilantro paste (or ¼c of cilantro)
  • 1 tablespoon jalapeno (deseeded)
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to the blender is this order - first ¼ cup greek yogurt, then 1 avocado, ¼ cup feta, 2 teaspoon cilantro paste, 1 tablespoon jalapeno, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, and finally the 2 tablespoon lime juice and 2 tablespoon oil.
    All the ingredients added to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth. Then enjoy with chips or veggies.

Expert Tips

  • Deseed the jalapeno for a manageable level of spice. With the seeds, the dip is way too spicy.
  • Taste and adjust as you go. Always taste and adjust the seasoning or acid as needed.
  • Layer the items in the blender as noted in the recipe. This order is designed to make it so you won’t have much stuck in the blender corners.

Storage Tips

Just keep this dip in the fridge in a sealed and airtight container for up to 5 days. I don’t recommend freezing it. It can be eaten cold.
